  • Exterior

    Stayfast Canvas is very durable and designed for extreme outdoor use. Comes with a center zipper for driving providing easy access to the interior. When installed and unzipped you can access the driver’s seat or passenger seat. Covers are installed with snaps, making them easily removeable.
    These tires replace the standard tires with white sidewall tires on all 4 corners on your Speedster.

    Vintage mesh covers which were originally used as rally rock proctors for glass lens headlights when racing. They cover the driver and passenger side glass headlight lens.
    These replace the standard teardrop taillights and are period correct to Pre-A Speedsters and also give a nice Outlaw style to non-Pre-A models.
    Mount a suitcase to your rear. Use leather straps to secure your luggage on them which are also available. The rack mounts to your rear engine grilles and are removeable.
    Replaces the standard single rear engine grille decklid with a single grille and has vented louvers on both sides. GT Speedsters had this feature to offer more air flow for their higher horsepower engines.
    Pair of 5” diameter round fog lights which are found on some GT Speedsters, Outlaw Speedsters, and rally Speedsters. Chrome with clear glass lens.

    GT bumpers have a lightweight aluminum strip across the center of the bumper rather rubber gasket and deco strip of chrome found on the base Speedster.
    Leather hood straps in either Tan leather or Black leather. Please specify which cover you would like in the notes section if ordering your Speedster with Leather Hood Straps.

    Two variations available: either our screw-on/off GT Speedster gas cap placed in the center of the hood. OR our Spyder polished aluminum flip up gas cap mounted through the center of the hood. Please make note in the notes section below for which style you would like.
    Polished aluminum bumperette that protect the front and rear bumper. Two in the front and two in the rear. (Note: Our bumpers are fiberglass and can still break if these are hit hard enough when backing your Speedster into something, these are more so for visual aesthetics rather protecting you from low speed fender benders)
    If your state requires a front license plate, this bracket mounts your front plate to the front of the Speedster.
    Window wings mounted to your front windshield posts and allow you to adjust/angle them so you can deflect air.
    Chrome hubcaps that cover the center of your Wide-5 wheel and disc brake faces and have a crest logo in the center.

    Fitted to each Speedster and painted to match the exterior and equipped with an upholstered headliner. Equipped with a black glass window and come with the hardtop side windows which are removable by sliding into your exiting side curtain window holes located on top of the door rail. Hardtop can be removed and stored when not in use. Constructed from high quality fiberglass provides an excellent fit and finish.
    We offer two different versions of a widebody Speedster. Our REGULAR widebody and our SUPER widebody. Both versions increase the overall width of the Speedster over the wheel arches and provide room for wider wheels. Please make note to discuss width and style at the bottom of your order form.
    Painted GT Speedster/Spyder mirror housing mounted directly to your LEFT fender with an inner adjustable inner mirror.

    Spyder license plate light housing shines a light directly down on your license plate. The Spyder housing is painted to match exterior.

  • Interior

    Classic looking stereo is mounted in the dash.
    German Square Weave carpet is a premium imported automotive carpet that was originally used in original Speedsters and are a perfect upgrade.
    Chrome interior door pull handles mounted on the driver and passenger door matching the original styling.
    This steering wheel is designed from the original PETRI steering wheel which fit many of the coachbuilts of the 1950s such as the Speedster 356As. The boss hub kit we manufacture mates this beautiful steering wheel to your Speedster matching the design and color of the Banjo steering wheel.

    One of the most authentic styling upgrades for your Speedster is our parking brake handle mounted under the dash to the left of the steering column just like the original Speedsters. This upgrade deletes the standard VW handbrake mounted on the center tunnel between the seats.
    Textured aluminum pedal faces with Outlaw styling. They replace the standard rubber pedal covers.
    Our 60mm dash clock illuminates at night and matches the VDO gauges used on the dash. Clock is mounted into the dash.
    Your choice of either color matching stitching or contrast stitching with small upholstered diamonds into your seat inserts and door panels. You can also select double stitching vs single line stitching for an additional cost. Please make note on your order form.

  • Performance

    IRS refers to Independent Rear Suspension and is a perfect way to upgrade your standard swing axle suspension. The difference between swing axle and IRS is that swing axle suspensions actually use the axle as a suspension component, whereas IRS used the combination of the spring plate and arm as the pivoting suspension components and the only function of the axle is to deliver power. IRS is a more modern technology versus the standard swing axle and provides better handling for spirited drives.
    Often referred to as Sebring exhaust and was standard on all Spyders and some GT Speedsters. The center exit is a larger oval exhaust tip out the center of the rear of the Speedster below the rear valance.
